Droppers who cannot afford to waste a year
A drop year is limited time. The gap between where you are and where you need to be is usually small but specific — and repeating the same batch lectures rarely fixes it. One-on-one classes are the quickest way to fix exactly what needs fixing.
Class XII students managing boards and JEE together
Boards and JEE Advanced need different kinds of preparation — and in Class XII both come at the same time. We plan each class around what your week needs. JEE depth, without ignoring the board exam.
Targeting JEE Advanced or BITSAT specifically
Advanced-level Physics and Maths need a depth that batch teaching rarely reaches — there is not enough time, and students in a batch are at different levels. One-on-one classes are the most direct way to reach that level.

Any material, any book.
Most institutes teach only from their own modules — that is how they are set up. We do not have that limitation. Bring your coaching material (Allen DLP, Aakash modules, VMC, FIITJEE, Invictus, Resonance) or the advanced books your child is working through (Cengage, Vikas Gupta's Black Book, Sameer Bansal, Balaji, HCV, DC Pandey, Irodov). The class is based on what they are already studying.
We teach you ourselves.
Sessions are taken personally by Dhirendra (IIT Roorkee, Mathematics) and Abhimanyu (NIT Surathkal, ex-HOD Physics, FIITJEE Amritsar). Our students include JEE Advanced AIR 22 and AIR 52. We do not send outside tutors — if you join, one of us teaches your child.
First why, then how.
A lot of tuition is just solving question after question and hoping something stays in the mind. We start with why a formula works and what it actually means. Students who understand the why solve tougher questions faster and remember them in the exam. This is the real difference between students who stop at JEE Main and students who clear JEE Advanced.
Online platform included.
Every 1-on-1 student also gets access to our practice platform — adaptive tests, concept-wise analytics, a personalised revision queue, recorded explanations. There is no extra charge for it. The platform remembers what was difficult last month, so next month's class continues from there.
How a normal week goes.

Before
Send the topic, chapter or doubts on WhatsApp a day before. The teacher prepares — goes through the material and chooses the right examples for the class.

The class
90 minutes, one-on-one. Concept first, then solved examples, then your child solves questions with the teacher's guidance. We move on only when the concept is clear, not just when the time is over.

After
Class notes and important solved examples are uploaded to the student's platform account. If a topic needs more practice, questions are added for practice automatically.

Every month
Parents get a short written progress report — what was covered, what is strong and what comes next. Not just a vague 'going well'.

Frequently asked questions.
Can my child continue Allen (or Aakash, VMC, FIITJEE) alongside this?
Yes — these classes are made exactly for this. We teach from your existing coaching material and give the personal attention that a 200-student batch cannot. Most of our one-on-one students also study at a big coaching institute.
Online or offline?
Both. We teach offline at our Nirvana Courtyard, Sector 50 centre in Gurugram. If a student is travelling, unwell, or temporarily in another city, they switch to online for that session — at no extra charge.
How many hours per week do you recommend?
It depends on the subject mix and time until the target exam. For a Class XII JEE aspirant taking Physics + Maths 1-on-1 alongside regular coaching, 3 to 4.5 hours per week is typical. The diagnostic session helps us recommend the right cadence.
What if my child is not comfortable with the teacher after one or two classes?
Please tell us honestly. For most students it works from the first class, but if it does not, we will change the teacher, change the teaching approach, or refund the unused classes. We would rather refund your fee than keep an unhappy student.
Do you guarantee a rank or selection?
No — and be careful of any tutor who does. We promise quality teaching, honest feedback and full commitment to your child's preparation. A rank depends on many things; we give our best to everything that is in our hands.
How is this different from a home tutor on Urban Company or a local WhatsApp tutor?
Three differences. First, we are senior teachers from top institutes with proven results — not part-time tutors. Second, you get the full Compass Learning platform — level-wise tests, analysis and lecture library — included with the classes. Third, there is regular follow-up — monthly written reports, class notes and revision lists. Most home tutors cannot give any of these.
